What are

Lab Grown Diamonds

It is now scientifically possible to grow diamonds of superlative beauty in a laboratory. Using environmentally-friendly technology, lab grown diamonds are chemically, geologically and optically the same as mined diamonds. To the naked eye, with a jeweler’s loupe, or a powerful binocular microscope, these lab grown diamonds are as real and spectacular as a diamond can be. Lab grown diamonds are priced significantly below comparable mined diamonds. With these savings it may now be possible to afford a larger stone or one of greater clarity. The diamond of your dreams.

Benefits of

Lab Grown Diamonds

ECO FRIENDLY
Lab grown diamonds are grown with minimal impact on the environment.
BEAUTY
Lab grown diamonds are physically, optically, and chemically indistinguishable from mined diamonds.
PARITY
Lab grown diamonds are type IIA diamonds. Only 2% of mined diamonds in the world fall under this category.
VALUE
Lab grown diamonds provide exceptional value and are typically more affordable than mined stones of the same size and, cut and quality.

How Are Lab Grown Diamonds made?

Lab Grown Diamonds are created using one of two processes, Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT). A small flat diamond seed is placed in a controlled carbon - gas environment. Great amounts of energy breaks down and the carbon atoms attach to the diamond seed. This seed then starts to grow layer by layer. About 4-6 weeks later, depending on the size, a gem quality rough lab grown diamond is born. The rough lab grown diamond is then sent to a cutting facility and mimics the same processes a mined diamond goes through.
